On November 27, 2014 Sagicor Real Estate X Fund Limited advised that its board approved the issue of Debt Instruments to finance the acquisition of the Hilton Rose Hall Property in Rose Hall, St. James. The financing is expected to be concluded by the end of the year.

The Board of Directors of Access Financial Services Limited will consider a dividend payment at a meeting to be held on January 29, 2015.

Proven Investments Limited (PROVEN) has advised that its total equity holdings in Knutsford Express Services Limited (KEX) now stands at 20,000,002 units or 20% of the participating voting shares following its recent acquisition of KEX shares. PROVEN further advised that the purpose of the acquisition of KEX shares is to consolidate the holdings of KEX, so that KEX can be characterised as an associated company of PROVEN. PROVEN advised that it does not intend to conduct further purchases of equity in KEX. However, should PROVEN intend to purchase five percent or more of the participating voting shares of KEX a notification will be given to the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE). PROVEN further advised that it does not intend to acquire control of the business nor majority shareholding of KEX. However, should PROVEN intend to do so it will be communicated in writing to the JSE.

The Board of Directors of SGJ has declared a dividend of $0.40 per share payable on January 13, 2015 to shareholders on record as at December 18, 2014. The ex-dividend date is December 16, 2014. The Board of Directors of SIJL has declared a dividend of $0.45 per share payable on January 13, 2015 to shareholders on record as at December 18, 2014. LASCO Distributors Limited (LASD) has advised that it has been appointed Exclusive Distributor of MONYMUSK Plantation Rums for the territory of Jamaica. LASD will be responsible for the distribution of these specified MONYMUSK Plantation products effective November 26, 2014.

LASCO Distributors Limited (LASD) has advised that it has been appointed by UNILEVER CARIBE, S.A. as Non-Exclusive Distributor of the following Unilever Food products for the territory of Jamaica: Food: Lipton; Red Rose; Knorr Side Dishes; Blue Band; Flora; I Can`t Believe It`s Not Butter and Country Crock. Ice Cream: Ben & Jerry`s; Popsicle and Breyers.

LASD will be responsible for the distribution of these specified Unilever products and distribution will commence on November 20, 2014.

The Jamaica Stock Exchange Limited has advised that Mr. Donovan Perkins resigned as a director effective November 20, 2014.

On November 18, 2014, Pan-Jamaican Investment Trust Limited (PJAM) announced the purchase of the Oceana Hotel ("Oceana") in downtown Kingston, as well as a long term lease of the parking garage adjacent to the hotel, from the Urban Development Corporation ("UDC") in a $400 million cash transaction. The Oceana has been purchased by a joint venture of PJAM, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Jamaica Property Company, and Downing Street Realty Partners ("Downing Street"), a Toronto-based real estate developer with whom PJAM has enjoyed a long relationship. The initial phase of the project, already commenced, will be to develop a comprehensive master plan for the site, as well as to renovate and upgrade the parking garage.

The Board of Directors of Carreras Limited has declared an interim special capital cash distribution of $1.00 per stock unit payable on December 18, 2014 to stockholders as at December 1, 2014. The ex-dividend date is November 27, 2014.
