The Annual General Meeting of Desnoes & Geddes Limited will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 214 Spanish Town Road, Kingston 11 at 10:00 a.m.

Trinidad Cement Limited (TCL) has advised that, as previously reported, on Friday 12th July, 2013, the Honourable Mr. Justice Harris granted an injunction restraining the holding of TCL`s Annual Meeting scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on that same day. TCL filed a Notice of Appeal challenging the granting of the injunction. The Court of Appeal Hearing had been fixed for Monday 30th September, 2013 but was rescheduled by the Court to Wednesday 9th October, 2013. The attorneys for the proposing shareholders applied for a further postponement of the hearing, due to the unavailability of their Senior Counsel. The Appeal has therefore been further rescheduled to Wednesday 13th November at 9:00 a.m.

Scotia Investments Jamaica Limited (SIJL) has advised that Mrs. Vanessa Scott, Vice President, Sales and Service, has been transferred from SIJL to Scotia Bank to assume the position of Director, Cross Group Business Development - Scotia Group Jamaica effective October 10, 2013. Mr. Courtney Sylvester has been appointed to the role of Senior Vice President - Sales, Service & Client Experience - SIJL effective October 15, 2013.

The Board of Directors of Palace Amusement Company (1921) Limited (PAL) has declared a dividend of $1.75 per share payable on January 17, 2014 to shareholders on record as at January 8, 2014. The ex-dividend date is January 6, 2014.

The Board of Directors of Seprod Limited has declared a dividend of $0.30 per share payable on November 15, 2013 to shareholders on record as at October 31, 2013. The ex-dividend date is October 29, 2013. 

Caribbean Cement Company Limited (CCC) has advised that there will be an average increase of 2.7% on all CCC products effective October 22, 2013.
